CNN MultiChoice African Journalist Competition 2016 now OPEN for entries

The CNN MultiChoice African Journalist Competition is now OPEN for entries.
ALL submissions can be made via the entry form website.
Category information and full details on how to enter, also can be found at the Awards’ website. 
Closing date for entries is March 24th 2016.  As the Competition is open for a limited period only, journalists are requested to submit your entry now and be part of the most prestigious journalist awards on the continent.
The 20th African Journalist Awards 2015 were held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi to crown and celebrate the crème de la crème in different journalism fields across Africa.
On Saturday, October 10th 2015 we crowned Hyacinthe Boowurosigue Sanou from Burkina Faso The CNN MultiChoice African Journalist 2015.

KCSE results 2015 out Thursday- send index number to 22252



More than 520,000 Form Four candidates who sat the 2015 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams will know their results on Thursday, March 3, 2016.

Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) Chief Executive Officer Joseph Kivilu  (pictured) said  atleast 525,802 candidates sat for the examination last year according to the examination council.

Immediately after the release by the cabinet secretary, parents and students can send the candidate’s index number to 22252 to access the results.

Candidates are advised to thoroughly scrutinise the results for correctness and ensure accuracy of names, index number and gender, school name and code, and individual subject.

Any discrepancy noted on the examination results should be reported within one month from the date of release of the examination results. This includes any appeals for remarking.

The examination result slips will be issued to county directors of education after the release.
